I understand you may have difficult days followed by more difficult days. Nonetheless, or even more importantly, I recommend you embrace as one of the keys to making the most out of life is to live with an attitude of gratitude. I want to share one of my daily practices.

Each night before I go to sleep, I go over in my mind (or you could write them down) what I call “The Joys of the Day”. The joys could be anything I noticed or experienced throughout the day. Whether it was a tasty meal, getting a snuggle from a pet, gazing at clouds circling around the moon, someone visited, having a good laugh, you did a kindness for someone, etc., etc. Whatever it is that brought you joy and a feeling of how marvelous it is to be alive.

Bringing awareness to, and making note of, the little beauties of each day can bring about profound changes over time.

By keeping your senses and heart open each day, even during what might be considered a ‘bad day’, you allow your mind to open to new opportunities and possibilities. There are always things to be grateful for and by being aware of what you already have, you can attract more joy into your life.

I've been doing this for over 20 years. Recently, I read someone's suggestion to begin your day with what you are grateful for to set the tone for this day to come. I like that approach, too.

“I want to know if you can see Beauty even when it is not pretty every day. And if you can source your own life from its presence.”
—The Invitation | Oriah Mountain Dreamer

“Joy and gratitude are a higher vibration. And as we have said many times, the Field or existence responds to your vibration. So the more you can consciously create joy and gratitude in your life, the more it will be reflected back to you in your daily life, in your circumstances. The more you can feel abundant in your life, the more life will bring you abundance. This is a Quantum Reality. Focus on the joy. When you notice your thoughts, going into judgments or comparisons are not good enough, it is time for you to catch yourself and say, "No more. I'm stepping out of that old timeline. I'm stepping into a reality where I create consciously from my feelings. I can direct my feelings by having a thought. Oh, I am going to feel joy now." And then, with that remembrance of feeling more joy, you go into the feeling of it, the vibration of it.”

Alcazar | Guide for The Stargate Experience

Alcazar emphasizes when you have something for which you’re grateful, to say “Thank you, bring me more” (TYBMM). It’s best to be specific such as, "Thank you bring me more days where I feel good". It applies to everything though: Thank you bring me more pretty sunsets. Thank you bring me more tasty food. The more you do it throughout the day, the more you’re raising yourself to the higher vibration that comes with gratitude.
